Hotel Il Girasole - Anacapri (Isola di Capri)

This place suits me perfectly. I love the free wi-fi, rooftop pool, and helpful staff. They even recommended a local taxi on my first stay, which I still remember. I can't wait to return next year!

It has a great view and a little off the regular path which was nice. It's very well marked from the town of Anacapri and the staff was very friendly. The room was fairly simple but nice and clean.

Had a great stay overall. Hotel has a breathtaking view of the ocean, with a great pool and chairs for sunbaking. Breakfast was really good! There was a selection of everything and it was always fresh. Super friendly staff and gave us a great map of the island. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom! The hotel's location is perfect - not in the centre of the action (and you don't want to be - with the noise of the cars and scooters!) but it is only a 5-min walk from the bus station, with buses every 5 mins to Capri centre. Advice: bring a laptop (with movies) in case of bad weather!

The toilet made a loud sound each time after we flushed it, but nothing too serious. The walls were thin in the bathroom which meant we could hear other guests sometimes (only in the bathroom), but at night it was perfectly quiet. The shower was tiny, but everything was spotlessly clean.

Lovely sunsets at the rooftop pool create a amazing experience. The location provides easy access to local restaurants and bus services essential for exploring the island.

Thin walls allow noise from neighboring rooms, disrupting tranquility. Some rooms feel dated and could benefit from a refresh to enhance comfort.

location: the hotel was near to taxis, the marina and the bus station in anacapri. i had some drinks at bar malibu, positioned 300 metres away. i liked the king room. the view of the ocean and mount vesuvius was particularly good.

We really loved the views of the island and the Bay of Naples. The sunsets right outside of our room was beautiful.

It was far away from the marina grande. Which was nice because it was quiet and had the wonderful views but it was difficult with our luggage.

Take advantage of the free shuttle service to explore the nearby attractions without the stress of parking or navigating narrow streets.

We booked at the last minute and were very pleased with the accommodations and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The view was incredible and the pool was well used on the hot days. The staff was very pleasant and fun and the food was well prepared. The shuttle down to the port (and back if you ask ahead) was a great bonus. The hotel is away from the bustle which is relaxing.

If you take a bus from the port be sure to go to the very last stop and not get off at Anacapri central or you will have a long and somewhat "adventurous" walk up due to the tiny roads. The dinner is well prepared but limited in selection but it does change each day.

Staff were great and even had a nice drink waiting on me when I checked in. Breakfast was good and there is a cheap bus that takes you to and from Capri.

Shower water wasn't always hot and the shower head needed a little cleaning.

Il Girasole was a lovely retreat, adorned with blooming gardens that created a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Every part of the hotel was accessible.

More shuttle options for local attractions would help seniors.

The staff was excellent. Francesco is the most helpful person I have met in any of the hotels I have visited.Even the rest of the staff were excellent. The hotel also provided a free pick up & drop to Capri - marina grande. They also gave us a sea facing room at our request.Quite conveniently located near the bus stop

The room was quite small & the sitting area outside this room was unpaved.

The view from the Triple Room with Sea View is undeniably fine. The tranquil atmosphere surrounding the hotel, coupled with well-maintained gardens, creates a perfect spot for relaxation.

Access can be tricky, especially if you're arriving late. Taxis struggle to navigate the narrow roads, leaving guests to walk a confusing route after dark. The shuttle service has an early cutoff time, meaning if your arrival is delayed, you might need to shell out for an expensive taxi. While the hotel tries to accommodate, the walk to the main area is steep and could be strenuous for those with mobility issues.

The staff was very helpful. Whether it was with ferry schedules or helping book a room in Naples and making sure it was in a safer neighborhood. At check in, we were given a detailed map of sites to see while in Capri and it was actually user friendly.

Being closer to Capri would've been nice but it was easily accessible by bus and they ran until 2am.

I had neat, elegant room with great views as well as beautiful balcony, had good night's sleep. The atmosphere created was comfortable.
